4th of July

So I am not sure if I mentioned this in any other previous posts but my brother Dave had some unexpected leave from the marines and came out to Colorado for a couple of weeks. It was fun to have him here. He keeps me busy so I don't get bored, if anything he is there to hang out with me when we are both bored but oh well. We celebrated the 4th of July last night with family which was pretty fun. I attempted to capture some fireworks with my camera which I have not done before. In hindsight I should have made a few changes to my shutter speed but I still found a couple that were still kind of cool photos. There is also some pictures of my family in the morning... shortly after we just got up lol. They are pretty classic. Anyway I hope everyone had a good 4th.

So I had a pretty busy weekend this past weekend. I worked all day Saturday and then went on a double date with my roommate and his girlfriend. We had a lot of fun but it made for a really long day. Sunday was a big day as well. I took my younger siblings and my good friend dan to the warped tour up in Denver. Its basically a big rock music festival. I only went to go see Relient K which was one band out of like 40 lol. So I spend most of the day baking in the high heat and getting very sunburnt. Relient K only played for 30 mins but it was totally worth it. Relient K is probably one of my favorite bands. They had a signing event after they played where they would autograph your stuff. Both me and Grant have been huge Relient K fans for a while but I have never met them or seen them up close so I wasnt going to pass this up.

We stood in line for an hour or so but it was totally worth it. We actually got to meet all the members of the band and get their autograph. It was TOTALLY AWESOME!! lol I only had the camera on my phone to capture the event unfortunatley, but at least I got to capture it in some way. Grant was freaking out too, It pretty much made his year to meet them. Its kind of funny because you have those special situations which only last like a min but after you leave you think of 20 different things you should have said, or should have done differently. That definitely happend on sunday but either way it was awesome to meet them.

So you guys are all probably pretty tired of seeing pictures of Colorado sunsets but I cant help but take pictures of them. They are just so amazing :) Anyway I took these on the way to my friends house. We had an interesting night...we accidentally got another friend of mine in big trouble with his boss which was really awkward. Basically my friend told us we could get some free food from his work place and his manager wouldn't care..well his manager cared...a lot lol. It was pretty bad.

I miss my friend...

Paige gets home on friday and I am pretty excited but for now I miss her...

Lego Fun

Well I was looking around the other day and I found some un-opened lego sets. I used to LOVE playing with legos and putting them together and playing with them. So I put them together and it was a ton of fun. I took some pictures so you can all admire my handiwork.

Its been a good couple weeks. Nothing to major, with paige gone I pretty much just work and hang with friends. Its not to bad I guess. I am excited for Paige to get back. She got back for about a day and then headed off to Girls State and she will be back on friday so thats always nice.

Work has been frustrating recently I cant really say a whole lot about it but I cant wait to go back to my Boulder store. Anyway i should be getting to bed I have to work super early tomorrow. I hope everyone is doing well.

I took Paige up to the airport the other day she was headed off to her dads house. We had a fun day.. We had a good lunch at Grandma and Grandpa's house, he headed up to Denver got some starbucks, spent some time Park Meadows and then enjoyed some dinner before I took her to the airport. It was fun :)
